Strain development | Developed by Developed by Tamino Ohono,Nagoya University Graduate School of Medicine in 2002. This congenic strain was produced by 13 backcrossing of the SM/J to the A/J. |
Strain description | This strain carries two Angiostrongylus costaricensis nematode susceptibility locus (Acns2 and 3) from A/J backcrossed to SM/J. This strain is useful for elucidation the infuluence of host gnes on the consequences of A. costariensis infection. Developed by Dr. Tamino Ohono, Nagoya University at 2002. |
