Strain description内在のアンジオテンシノーゲン遺伝子を欠損し、低血圧を呈する。
Colony maintenance繁殖効率：BInbred strainをback groundとした場合には、特にhomo化した場合に繁殖が困難。本系統を繁殖させる場合は、hetero欠損マウスを母親に用い、産後３週間ほど産仔に生理食塩水を皮下投与することで産仔数の７割程度の離乳個体を得ることができる。
