Strain development1992〜1994年にかけて育成し、以後兄妹交配によって維持してきた。開発者：若杉昇先生機関名：名古屋大学生命農学研究科C57BL/6Cr♀× (C57BL/6Cr♀ ×DDK♂）F1♂の戻し交配世代においてOmd（卵子突然変異)遺伝子へテロ型を選び、それらを交配してOmd遺伝子をホモ型に固定した系統で兄妹交配32世代を経過。
Strain description毛色：野生色と黒色 (agouti-locus を forced hetero A/aにして維持してきた)
Colony maintenance繁殖効率：B2産次以後は出産障害が起きやすく次代をとるのが困難になる傾向があるので初産で次代をとるのが安全である。
