H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineTT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1]
Background strain
Strain developmentDeveloped by Drs. Toshio Maekawa and Shunsuke Ishii, RIKEN Tsukuba Institute in 1999.
Strain descriptionCRE-Bpa (Creb5) knockout mice. Creb5 gene is a transcription factor including a putative metal finger structure and a DNA-binding domain consisting of a basic amino acid cluster and a leucine zipper. Homozygous mutant mice are postnatal lethal.
