Strain descriptionPOU転写因子Oct-4 (Pou5f1) 遺伝子を含む18kbのゲノム断片 (Genomic Oct-4 Fragment of 18) とGFP遺伝子との融合遺伝子を導入したトランスジェニックマウス (Dev Growth Differ 1999) 。Oct-4遺伝子は始原生殖細胞特異的に発現する遺伝子であり、始原生殖細胞 (PCG) を蛍光により区別、観察することが可能。GOF18のproximal enhancer (PE) 部を含むライン (RBRC00868) 、PEを除去したライン (RBRC00869とRBRC01198) 。
