Strain descriptionEmx1-creノックインマウス。Cre遺伝子とPGK-neoカセットがEmx1遺伝子の翻訳開始コドンATGの前に挿入されているマウス (neo型) (RBRC00808) とPGK-neoカセットを除去したマウス (delta neo型) (RBRC01345) 。大脳皮質、海馬、嗅球の興奮性神経細胞特異的にCre組換え酵素を発現する。delta neo型マウス (RBRC01345) では、neo型で観察されたectopic expressionが消失しており、内在性遺伝子の発現特性をより反映している。ホモマウスは生存性、繁殖性ともにあり。
