Strain development1999年から2000年にかけて、名古屋大学医学免疫学講座（中島泉教授）の鈴木治彦先生によって作製された。
Strain descriptionMitogen Activated Protein Kinase Kinase-6 (MKK6)遺伝子がジーンターゲティングにより破壊されている。ホモ接合体変異マウスはほぼ正常に成長し、リンパ球の機能にも特に大きな異常は認められない。一方、胸腺細胞におけるネガティブセレクションが特性の細胞集団で起こりにくくなっており，ネガティブセレクションに障害のある可能性が示唆されている。世代数：F9+N1F4N1
Colony maintenance通常の兄妹交配に準ずる。ホモノックアウト維持可能。
