Strain description軸前側多指症変異であるRim4 (Recombination-induced mutation 4) 変異系統。不完全雄性突然変異。6番染色体に8番染色体の17遺伝子を含む約6.5Mbのゲノム断片が挿入している。ヒトの相同領域である4番染色体4q32-q34には、対応する遺伝子が含まれており、ヒト4番染色体長腕部分重複症 (4q+) を共通した多くの症状を示す。4q32-q34を含む領域を重複した4q+のモデルマウスとして有用。
Colony maintenanceRim4/+(多指）と+/+の個体を兄妹交配繁殖は良い。餌はCE-2を使用。
