Strain developmentDeposited by Akio Kihara, Hokkaido University, in 2020. Mice were generated using TT2 (ES cell) derived from (C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1. Mice were further backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 11 generations.
Strain descriptionExon 5 was replaced with an FRT-flanked neomycin resistance cassette. RT-PCR analysis confirmed absence of mRNA expression in the epidermis of homozygous mutant mice.
