Strain development寄託者によって作製され、2019年11月に論文として発表された。129系統マウス由来ES細胞からNanog-RFP Tg ES細胞株を樹立。これをC57BL/6Jマウスブラストシストにインジェクションし、キメラマウス作製工程を経て作製した。キメラマウスをC57BL/6Jと掛け合わせ、その後十世代以上C57BL/6Jに戻し交配されている。問題なく繁殖でき、特に異常等の表現型は観察されない。
Strain descriptionNanogの発現をRFPの蛍光で観察できるレポーターマウス。ただし、Nanogを発現するunipotentな始原生殖細胞では蛍光が観察されず、多能性幹細胞でだけ蛍光が観察される。
