Strain description | A chemokine receptor, XCR1, is a receptor for XCL1 and expressed dominantly in one dendritic cell subset. XCR1-cre mice were generated by knocking the gene encoding cre recombinase into the murine XCR1 gene locus. In XCR1-cre mice, cre recombinase is expressed secifically in XCR1-expressing cells. |
