Strain development | Developed by Shigekazu Ngata at Osaka University in 2013. Bruce 4 ES cell line was used. Neomycin resistance gene was removed by crossing CAG-Cre mice. Exon 3 was deleted. This strain was backcrossed to a MRL strain for 5 generations. Analysis of SNP markers showed that 98% of them are derived from MRL. |
