Strain developmentDeveloped by Masato Kubo, RIKEN Yokohama Institute in 2010. M1/M-1 ES cells derived from (129 x C57BL/6)F1 were used. Mice were backcrossed with C57BL/6JJcl for 8 generations. Neo gene fragment was deleted by crossing with a FLPe mouse line in B6 background before backcrossing.
