Strain description | F8 (coagulation factor VIII) floxed mice with an inducible EGFP expression. Exon 16 of F8 is replaced with the following DNA fragment; loxP-F8 cDNA (exon 16–28)-SV40 pA-loxP-splice acceptor-P2A-EGFP-SV40 pA. In the presence of Cre, cDNA (exon 16–28) can be deleted and EGFP starts to express. Even in the absence of Cre, there is some EGFP expression due to splicing. RBRC10061 is a strain in which Cre deleted DNA fragment between loxP sites. |
