SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Maml1<tm1Mkit>
Former Common nameMamL1, Mastermind-like-1, Mastermind-1, Mam-1, mKIAA0200
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14.1 [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strainC57BL/6JJcl
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Motoo Kitagawa and his colleagues, Chiba University and The University of Tokyo. E14-1 (129P2/OlaHsd) ES cells were used. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6 for more than 20 generations.
Strain descriptionMaml1 (mastermind like 1) knockout mice. Exon 1 was replaced with the neomycin resistance gene. Homozygous mutants are postnatally lethal.
