Strain developmentDeveloped by Lisheng Zhuo and Koji Kimata, Aichi Medical University in 2000. E14 ES cell was used. C3He congenic line. Other congenic lines in C57BL/6NCrSlc (RBRC09742), DBA1/JJms (RBRC09744) or BALB/cCrSlc (RBRC09745) are also available.
Strain descriptionAmbp (alpha 1 microglobulin/bikunin)knockout mice. A neo cassette replaced exons coding the Bikunin protein, but unchanged exons coding the alpha 1 microglobulin protein. Homozygous females are infertile.
