Strain description | Ddhd1 (DDHD domain containing 1) knockout mice. RBRC09738 is a strain in which FRT-flanked lacZ/neomycyin fusion gene (geo) followed by a loxP site was inserted in front of exon 8 and another loxP site was inserted after the exon 8. RBRC09740 is a strain in which RBRC09738 was futher crossed with CAG-Cre to delete the exon 8, and then backcrossed to C57BL/6J. Homozygous male mice showed subfertility. A strain in mixed genetic background of C57BL/6 and CBA is available as RBRC09739. |
