E14TG2aIV ES cell line (129P2/OlaHsd) was used. C57BL/6J congenic strain (backcrossed to C57BL/6J for 12 generations). |
Strain description | Mta2 (metastasis-associated gene family, member 2) knockout mice. A genomic fragment corresponding from exon 8 to exon 12 of the Mta2 gene was replaced with a Neo resistance gene. The rate of homozygous mutants born from hetero x hetero crossing is much lower than what is expected from the Mendel’s law of inheritance. |
