Strain name | B6.Cg-Rnf31<tm1.2Kiwa> |
Former Common name | HOIP delta linear mice |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | TT2 [(C57BL/6NCrlj x CBA/JNCrlj)F1] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Kazuhiro Iwai, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University. TT2 ES cell line [(C57BL/6 x CBA)F1] was used. A pair of loxP sites were flanking an exon encoding RING-IBR-RING domain, and a genomic fragment between loxP sites were deleted by CAG-Cre. A Neo resistance gene was also deleted. C57BL/6 congenic strain. |
Strain description | Rnf31 (ring finger protein 31, HOIP) deficient mice. Exon encoding a RING-IBR-RING domain was deleted. Homozygous mutants are lethal at embryonic day 10.5. |
