Strain developmentDeveloped by Shin-ichi Tominaga and Kenji Kuroiwa, Jichi Medical University. DNA constructs (CAG-ST2L and CAG-GFP) were injected to fertilized eggs derived from C3H/HeJ. Mice were backcrossed to BALB/c for 7 generations.
Strain descriptionTransgenic mice expressing GFP and a transmembrane form of Il1rl1 (interleukin 1 receptor-like 1; alternative name, ST2L) under the control of CAG promoter. ST2L proteins are localized at the cell surface. Related transgenic mouse lines are available as RBRC09691 and RBRC09692.
