Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | C57BL/6-Crem<tm1.1Endo> |
Former Common name | ICER-KO |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | MS12 [C57BL/6] |
Background strain | C57BL/6JJcl |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Shogo Endo and Nobuhiko Kojima, Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology. ES cell line (MS12) derived from C57BL/6NSlc was used. Mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J. |
Strain description | CREM knockout mice. P2 exon was replaced with a floxed fragment containing P2 exon and FRT-flanked neo cassette. The P2 exon and neo cassette were then removed by microinjection of a Cre plasmid to fertilized eggs. |
