Strain development | Developed by Sadanori Watanabe, Gohta Goshima (Nagoya University), Go Shioi, Yasuhide Furuta (RIKEN CLST LARGE). The PGK-neo cassette was deleted by crossing with a mouse expressing FLPe(B6-Tg(CAG-FLPe)36Ito/ItoRbrc (RBRC01834)). HK3i ES cell (C57BL/6N background) was used to generate Haus6 conditional KO mice (Haus6 flox Neo mice)(Accession No. CDB1218K). Haus6 conditional KO mice (Haus6 flox Neo mice)(Accession No. CDB1218K) were crossed with C57BL/6-Tg(CAG-flpe)36Ito/ItoRbrc (RBRC01834), and the resultant mice without the PGK-neo cassette (Haus6 flox mice) were maintained by heterozygous crossing(C57BL/6N background). |
Strain description | Haus6 (Aug6/Dgt6/Fam29A) gene floxed mice. Haus6 (Aug6/Dgt6/Fam29A) is one of augmin subunits, which mediates microtubule-dependent microtubule nucleation (i.e. amplification). Exon 1 of Haus6 was flanked by loxP sites (Ref: Watanabe S et al Cell Rep 2016). The Neo cassette flanked by FRT sites was deleted by crossing with mice expressing a FLP recombinase (CAG-FLPe). Tissue-specific deletion of HAUS6 can be generated by crossing with various Cre-expressing mice. Homozygous Haus6 KO mice are lethal in early development (Ref: Watanabe S et al Cell Rep 2016). Homozygous Haus6 flox mice are viable. |
