Strain descriptionKnock-in mice of emerald-luciferase (Eluc) in the Arginine vasopressin (AVP) gene locus. AVP is expressed at the paraventricular hypothalamic nucleus, supraoptic nucleus and suprachiasmatic nucleus. Homozygotes die by postnadal day 10. A DNA construct of ELuc-Neo was knocked into the regions upstream of the translation initiation site of the mouse AVP locus.
