TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameC57BL/6-Ccdc86<tm1Hfuj>
Former Common nameCyclon-KO(EN)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineiTL IC1 [C57BL/6NTac]
Background strain
Strain developmentDeveloped by Hodaka Fujii, New York University in 2009. iTL IC1 ES cell line [C57BL/6NTac] was used. C57BL/6 background.
Strain descriptionCcdc86 (coiled-coil domain containing 86, Cyclon) knockout mice. EGFP and pgk-neo cassettes were placed just downstream of translation initiation codon in exon 1 of the gene. Heterozygous mice exhibited reduced Fas expression in activated T lyphocytes. Homozygous mutants are emobryonic lethal.
