Strain description | A chemokine receptor, XCR1, is a receptor for XCL1 and expressed dominantly in one dendritic cell subset. XCR1-venus mice were generated by knocking the gene encoding a fluorescence protein, venus (derived from Dr. Atsushi Miyawaki at BRI) into the murine XCR1 gene locus. In XCR1-venus mice, XCR1-expressing cells can be detected by venus expression. |
