Strain developmentDeveloped by Itaru Imayoshi, Institute for Virus Research, Kyoto University in 2012. The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of C57BL/6 fertilized eggs.
Strain descriptionArchT-EGFP is expressed after both Cre- and FLP-recombination. The transgene construct is knocked into Rosa26 BAC. This modified BAC was used for Tg mouse production. To achieve high-level transgene expression, ArchT-EGFP is expressed under CAG promoter and WPRE sequence is inserted into 3’UTR region. R26 BAC::pCAG-LF-ArchT-EGFP line (RBRC06585), R26 BAC::pCAG-LoxP-ArchT-EGFP line (RBRC06586) (FRT-Stop-FRT cassette was removed by crossing pCAG-FLPe strain), R26 BAC::pCAG-FRT-ArchT-EGFP line (RBRC06587) (LoxP-Stop-LoxP cassette was removed by crossing TNAP-Cre strain).
