BRC No.RBRC06569
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6(C3)-Ift80<tm1c(KOMP)Wtsi>
Former Common nameIft80 flox, B6-Ift80 floxed
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineJM8A1.N3 [C57BL/6N-A<tm1Brd>]
Background strain
Strain developmentDeveloped by Yoshihiro Omori and Takahisa Furukawa, Institute for Protein Research, Osaka University. The original allele were from the Knockout Mouse Project (KOMP) Repository. JM8A1.N3 ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. Floxed mice (tm1c allele mice) were generated by crossing with CAG-FLPe mice.
Strain descriptionIft80 gene floxed mice. Exon 6 was flanked by loxP sites.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6NCrSlc]
