Strain developmentDeveloped by Shinichiro Chuma, Institute for Frontier Medical Sciences, Kyoto University in 2011. (C57BL/6J x 129S6/SvEvTac)F1 derived ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionTrd7 gene knockout mice. Male homozygous mice are sterile, displaying small testis with abnormal spermatid morphology. Exons 8-12 were removed by cre excision.
