Strain developmentDeveloped by Yoichiro Abe and Masato Yasui, Scholl of Medicine, Keio University. TT2 ES cells were used to generate the mutant mice. PGK-neo cassette was removed by crossing with B6-CAG-FLPe#37 mice. The mutant mice were backcrossed to SJL/J mice.
Strain descriptionAqp4 gene GFP knock-in mice. GFP was inserted into exon 1. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile. SJL/J background.
