BRC No. | RBRC06317 |
Type | Targeted Mutation and Transgene |
Species | Mus musculus |
Strain name | C.Cg-Cables1<Tg(CAG-rtTA,CAG-tTS)138Utr> |
Former Common name | TAS, BALB-Cables1/TAS |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | |
Background strain | BALB/cAJcl |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Fumihiro Sugiyama, Laboratory animal resource center, University of Tsukuba in 2010. The transgene was coinjected into the pronuclei of B6D2F1 fertilized eggs. The transgenic mice were backcrossed to BALB/cAJcl for 14 times. |
Strain description | Insertional mutant mice of the Cables1 gene, arose from CAG-rtTA/CAG-tTS transgenic lines. Tg homozygous mice and about 50% of hemizygous mice show agenesis of the corpus callosum (ACC). |
Colony maintenance | Carrier x Noncarrier [BALB/cAJcl] |
