Strain developmentDeveloped by Shinichi Nakagawa, RIKEN Advanced Science Institute. TT2 ES cells were used to generate the knockout mice. A FRT-flanked neo cassette was removed by crossing with FLP mice. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6N.
Strain descriptionNeat1 ncRNA knock-out mice. A lacZ was inserted immediately downstream of the transcription start site of Neat1.
