Strain developmentDeveloped by Soichi Takiguchi and Akihiro Funakoshi, National Kyusu Cancer Center, Tetsuo Noda, The Cancer Institute, Japanese Foundation for Cancer Research and Kyoko Miyasaka, Tokyo Metropolitan Institute of Gerontology. J1 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J.
