Former Common nameETB/129, B6-Ednra KO
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineJH1 [129S7/SvEvBrd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Masashi Yanagisawa, The University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center. 129 and C57BL/6 mixed background.
Strain descriptionETB (Ednra / endothelin receptor type B) gene knockout mice. A 4.2 kb segment containing exon 3 was replaced with a neomycin resistant gene. Homozygous mutant mice die after birth (average age at death of 25 days).
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6J(Crlj)]
