BRC No.RBRC05977
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.129P2-Mmp14<tm2Ski>
Former Common nameMT1-MMP(MMP14) knockout mice
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14 [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Motoharu Seiki and Motoya Katsuki, Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo. E14 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J.
Strain descriptionT1-MMP (Mmp14) gene knockout mice (lacZ knock-in mice). Exons 1-5 were replaced with a NLS-lacZ cassette. Homozygous mutant mice die within 2-3 weeks after birth.
Colony maintenanceHeterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl]
