Strain name | B6.129P2-Mmp14<tm2Ski> |
Former Common name | MT1-MMP(MMP14) knockout mice |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | E14 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Motoharu Seiki and Motoya Katsuki, Institute of Medical Science, University of Tokyo. E14 ES cells were used. The mutant mice were backcrossed to C57BL/6J. |
Strain description | T1-MMP (Mmp14) gene knockout mice (lacZ knock-in mice). Exons 1-5 were replaced with a NLS-lacZ cassette. Homozygous mutant mice die within 2-3 weeks after birth. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote x Wild-type [C57BL/6JJcl] |
