Strain name | B6.Cg-Map3k5<tm1Hijo> Map3k6<tm1Hijo> |
Former Common name | ASK1/2-DKO |
H-2 Haplotype | |
ES Cell line | |
Background strain | C57BL/6JJcl |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Hidenori Ichijo, Graduate School of Pharmaceutical Sciences, The University of Tokyo. The double mutant mice were generated by crossing with Map3k5 KO mice and Map3k6 KO mice. C57BL/6J background. |
Strain description | Map3k5 (ASK1) and Map3k6 (ASK2) genes double knockout mice. The coding region of Exon 1 of Map3k5 gene was replaced with a GFP/PGK-neo cassette (GFP expression was not observed). The exons 1 to 5 of Map3k6 were replaced with a NLS-lacZ cassette and a pgk-neo cassette. Double homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile. |
Colony maintenance | Map3k5: Homozygote x Homozygote; Map3k6: Homozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6JJcl] |
