SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6;129P2-Bri3bp<Gt(RST655)Byg>/Dkit
Former Common nameBNAS1 gene trap mice
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14TG2aIV [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Daisuke Kitamura, Tokyo University of Science, Research Institute for Biomedical Sciences in 2005. RST655 gene trapped ES cells were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6 or BALB/c over 6 times. C57BL/6 background (RBRC05887).
Strain descriptionBNAS1 (Bri3bp) gene-trap mice. pGTOTMpfs gene- trap vector was inserted in the downstream of exon 1.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to C57BL/6NCrSlc] Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.

Specific Term and ConditionsPrior to requesting the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE, the RECIPIENT must obtain approval from the DEPOSITOR using the Approval Form. The availability of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE is limited to a RECIPIENT of a not-for profit institution for a not-for-profit research. In publishing the research results to be obtained by use of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE, an acknowledgment to the DEPOSITOR is requested. After deposition of the BIOLOGICAL RESOURCE, two years are assumed to be a collaborative research with the DEPOSITOR.
