BRC No.RBRC05750
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Tg(AS071*dSINE-lacZ)F
Former Common nameAS071 delta SINE Tg line F, B6-AS071/dSINE-lacZ#F
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Norihiro Okada, Graduate School of Bioscience and Biotechnology, Tokyo Institute of Technology in 2012.The transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6C3F1 fertilized eggs. Three lines were generated : line D (RBRC05748) (main line), line E (RBRC05749), line F (RBRC05750).
Strain descriptionAS071 (dSINE) -lacZ transgenic mice lacking SINE. AS071, one AmnSINE1 locus is a distal enhancer for Fgf8 expressed in the developing diencephalon. The expression pattern of lacZ driven by AS071 partially resembles that of diencephalic Fgf8 (dorsal midline and lateral wall and ventral).
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Noncarrier [C57BL/6JJmsSlc]
