Strain developmentDeveloped by Hiroaki Honda, Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine, Hiroshima University in 2006. E14 ES cells (129P2/OlaHsd) were used. The mutant mice were crossed to C57BL/6N mice.
Strain descriptionHepacam2 knockout mice. Exon 2 of Hepacam2 gene was replaced with a lacZ-frt-neo-frt cassette. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile.
