BRC No.RBRC05471
TypeTargeted MutationCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameC.Cg-Gt(ROSA)26Sor<tm4.1(CAG-mCitrine)Maoh>
Former Common nameBALB-ROSA26/CAG-mCitrine
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell lineE14TG2a [129P2/OlaHsd]
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDevelop by Masato Ohtsuka, Tokai University School of Medicine in 2010. The mice were backcrossed to BALB/cAJcl. Extra sequence in the RMCE<ex> was removed by FLP-mediated recombination.
Strain descriptionThe mice having a CAG-mCitrine-polyA cassette at the ROSA26 locus that were generated by RMCE (Recombinase-mediated cassette exchange). The mutant mice exhibit ubiquitous and very bright fluorescence.
Colony maintenanceHomozygote x Homozygote [or Crossing to BALB/cAJcl]
