BRC No.RBRC05385
TypeTransgeneCartagena
SpeciesMus musculus
Strain nameB6.Cg-Tg(Dppa3-cre/Esr1*)9Sait/SaitRbrc
Former Common nameDppa3-MER-Cre-MER-PEST (Acc. No. CDB0475T)
H-2 Haplotype
ES Cell line
Background strain
Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Takayuki Hirota and Mitinori Saitou, Graduate School of Medicine, Kyoto University in 2011. Transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6D2F2 fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionThis transgenic mouse expresses MER-Cre-MER-PEST protein under the control of the regulatory elements of the Dppa3. This strain enables 4-Hydroxytamoxifen-dependent Cre recombination in preimplantation embryos, primordial germ cells, and oocytes.
Colony maintenanceCarrier x Nocarrier [C57BL/6N]
