Strain development | Developed by Yasuhide Ohinata and Mitinori Saitou, RIKEN, Center for Developmental Biology in 2008. Transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6D2F2 fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6. |
Strain description | The transgenic mice having a Dppa3-ECFP containing upstream sequence, exon 1 through exon 4 of Dppa3 with a ECFP reporter sequence that inserted in-frame after the initial ATG of exon 2 of the Dppa3. Tg homozygous females have low fertility. |
