Strain developmentDeveloped by Yasuhide Ohinata and Mitinori Saitou, RIKEN, Center for Developmental Biology in 2008. Transgene was injected into the pronuclei of B6D2F2 fertilized eggs. The mice were crossed to C57BL/6.
Strain descriptionThe transgenic mice having a Dppa3-ECFP containing upstream sequence, exon 1 through exon 4 of Dppa3 with a ECFP reporter sequence that inserted in-frame after the initial ATG of exon 2 of the Dppa3. Tg homozygous females have low fertility.
