Strain developmentDeveloped by Yoichiro Iwakura, The Institute of Medical Science, The University of Tokyo in 2011. The transgene was microinjected into the pronuclei of C3H/HeNSlc fertilized eggs.
Strain descriptionHuman CD4 transgenic mice. These transgenic mice carry a human CD4 gene under the control of a chicken beta-actin promoter and cytomegalovirus enhancer. Two lines were deposited (RBRC05377 and RBRC05378).
