Strain development | Developed by Takeshi Yoshida, Mie University School of Medicine. Maintained by Takashi Agui, Graduate School of Veterinary Medicine, Hokkaido University. |
Strain description | Hypothyroid growth-retarded mouse derived from Snell’s dwarf mouse. Homozygous mutant mice show a delayed pubertal growth and hypothyroidism. Homozygous females are infertile and males show markedly-decreased fertility. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote X Wild-type |
