ES Cell line | E14 [129P2/OlaHsd] |
Background strain | |
Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Hiroaki Honda, Research Institute for Radiation Biology and Medicine, Hiroshima University. A loxP was inserted upstream of exon 8 and an FRT flanked neo cassette with a 3’ loxP site was inserted downstream of exon 8. Neo cassette was removed by crossing with FLPe mice (C57BL/6-Tg (CAG-FLPe) 36Ito). The mice were backcrossed with C57BL/6N for at least 8 times. |
Strain description | Kdm2b (Fbxl10) gene floxed mice. Exon 8 of Kdm2b gene is flanked by loxP sites. Conditonal Kdm2b deficient mice can be generated by crossing with tissue-specific Cre mice. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote X Wild-type [C57BL/6NCrlCrlj] |
