Strain developmentDeveloped by Itaru Imayoshi and Ryoichirou Kageyama, Institute for Virus Research, Kyoto University in 2010. loxP-Stop-loxP and loxP-sTOP-loxP cassettes were removed by crossing with pCAG-FLPe and TNAP-Cre mice (C57BL/6).
Strain descriptiontTA-Ad is expressed in VGLUT1-expressing cells. IRES2-tTA-Ad sequence is knocked into 3’UTR region of VGLUT1 gene.
