Appearance | |
Strain development | Developed by Dr. Yoshiki Sasai, Center for Developmental Biology, RIKEN. |
Strain description | This transgene contains tau-lacZ with a floxed neo in the first exon of Kcp to replace with lacZ at the first ATG. Kcp is a Kielin-related molecule that contains multiple Chd-type cysteine-rich repeats, a vWD domain and a TIL domain, and physically binds to Bmp proteins. Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile, and exhibit no gross structural defects. |
Colony maintenance | Heterozygote X Wild-type [C56BL/6] Homozygous mutant mice are viable and fertile. |
