Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Hiroshi Hamada, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University. The construct was electroporated into G4 ES cells derived from B6129F1. The Exon2 and exon3 was excised by crossing with CAG-Cre mice.
Strain descriptionTacstd1 (Epcam, epithelial cell adhesion molecule) gene knockout mice. Exon2 and exon3 of Tacstd1 was deleted by crossing with CAG-Cre mice. Homozygous mice die within 10 days after birth.
