Strain developmentDeveloped by Dr. Hiroshi Hamada, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University. The construct was electroporated into G4 ES cells derived from B6129F1. The SA-IRES-Bgeo was excised by crossing with mice expressing F1p (B6-FLPe transgenic mice).
Strain descriptionExon2 and exon3 of Tacstd1 (Epcam, epithelial cell adhesion molecule) gene flanked by loxp sites. Conditional Tacstd1 deficient mice can be generated by cyossing with tissue-specific Cre mice. Homozygous mice were viable and fertile.
