Appearance
Strain developmentDeveloped by Yanick Botlde and Hiroshi Hamada, Graduate School of Frontier Biosciences, Osaka University. The construct was electroporated into G4 ES cells derived from B6/129. Correctly targeted ES cells were aggregated with ICR molura. The resulting chimeric animals were crossed to C57BL/6 and then crossed to CAG-fLPe and CAG-Cre mice.
Strain descriptionCluap1 (Qilin) gene knockout mice. Exons 1 to 3 were removed. Homozygous mutant mice are embryonic lethal.
