Strain descriptionKcnc1-YFP transgenic and GAD67 GFP knock-in double mice. Transgene composed of 5kB 5’ regulatory sequence of rat Kv3.1 potassium channel driving expression of a yellow variant of jelly fish green fluorescent protein. Knock-in of GFP into the ATG in exon 1 of GAD67 gene. Bright yellow and green fluorescence of specific cell types. GAD67 GFP homozygous mice are infertile.
Colony maintenanceTg : Carrier x Carrier; KO : Heterozygote x Wild-type
